Meeting the Cars 2 Stars

So, on Tuesday I found that the Cars 2 "Agents on a Mission" Tour was coming to Seattle (To see their current schedule, you'll have to check out their facebook page, facebook.com/PixarCars). Woo Hoo! Made a deal with Chad and left as soon as he got out of school. Got to Westlake Center only to find it totally devoid of any life sized cartoon replicas. Checked facebook again and found that some wonderful person had posted that it was at Alderwood mall instead.

Jumped back in the car (we were there for such a short period of time they didn't even charge me for parking!!) checked the GPS and found that Alderwood was only 20 min north of where we were. 20 extra min or go home? We got to Alderwood with a full hour to spare before the cars were scheduled to depart.

We got our "Swag Bag" then they had fun game stations to fill it up. Here, at "Plinko" Chad got 2 window lings (they even let me play, I got crayons!). The next station was "Spin the Wheel" Chad won a new beach towel ("Mom, I can use this for when I go to my swim lessons!"). We also got key chains (Chad choose Mater, I choose Holly Shiftwell). Then we stood in line for pics with the stars!

After pictures they had a scavenger hunt, three scenes from the movie with hidden clues! Then a touch screen matching game.

Even after the extra long trip, Chad was super excited that we got to go, here he is with his stuff: Cars 2/State Farm bag, coloring book, shammy, window clings, key chain, spy glass and towel.
