Day Out With Thomas

I think I was the most excited about going to the Day Out With Thomas. I kept trying to get Chad excited by telling him that we were going to see Thomas, but he just brought me his trains and said "Here he is!". But he totally understood once we got there and he saw that big train, he could hardly stand still or walk because he was so very excited. We have video of him watching Thomas and the only pictures we have of us and Thomas are not digital, so you'll have to settle for these:

Here is Chad with Emily. They had a few more posters of the different trains around, but you couldn't get to them for pictures. Tell me, does that really make sence? I don't think so.

I asked Chad if he wanted to go see Sir Toppham Hat, he said "uh-uhhhh." So we watched some other kids shake his hand and pose for a picure. Mike told Chad "Ok, go say hello." And Chad ran up for a great big hug! So very cute!

This is on our train ride, Chad was listening for the train that he thought was coming. I had no idea how to convince him that we were on the train and no other train was coming. So, he held his hand up to his ear every time Thomas whistled and asked "Train comin?"

Here is Chad and dad discussing the large rocks along the way. Chad has developed a keen intrest in rocks (he mostly picks them up and relocates them about 2 feet away from where they started!).

Behind those trees is Snoqualmie Falls, I'll tell you it's an interesting perspective you get on the opposite side of the falls from the viewing area. It's really neat to see it from the top.

Needless to say Chad had a wonderful time and didn't want to go, so we bribed him in to the car with a bottle of water all his own and some dried mango (yum!) and headed home.
